Tips to Get Crispy Frozen Brussel Sprouts in the Air Fryer

  • If you’re wondering how long to cook frozen brussel sprouts in the air fryer, the trick is to air fry them until the outer leaves are completely crispy and the inside is fork-tender. You may need to play around with the time depending on the size of the brussel sprouts. If you taste any bitterness, they need to be cooked longer.
  • Make sure the sprouts are in a single layer in the air fryer basket with a little room between each one. This allows the hot air to circulate properly.
  • Don’t hold back on the olive oil! You really want to coat each sprout so the air fryer can fully crisp it up.

Do I Need to Thaw the Frozen Brussel Sprouts Before Air Frying?

Nope! That’s the beauty of this recipe. The brussel sprouts don’t need to thaw first, so you can go from freezer to table in less than 15 minutes. How nice is that?

I like to keep a bag of Trader Joe’s frozen brussel sprouts in my freezer for exactly this purpose. Whenever I find myself in need of a super quick veggie side, I have them ready to go.

How to Reheat Brussel Sprouts in the Air Fryer

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F.

  3. Cook for about 5 minutes until warmed through and crispy on the outside.
