STEP TWO: Mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Evenly sprinkle the spice mixture over the chicken for an irresistible coating.

STEP THREE: Air fry at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes, flipping at 5 minutes to ensure even cooking. Keep a watchful eye around the 8-minute mark, especially for smaller pieces, to avoid overcooking.

Tips for the Best Air Fryer Boneless Chicken Wings

  • If you plan to serve the wings later, store the buffalo sauce separately until you’re ready to enjoy. This keeps the coating delightfully crunchy.
  • Thoroughly pat the chicken dry before placing it in the air fryer. This minimizes excess moisture and helps achieve that coveted crispy texture.
  • When sprinkling the seasonings, make sure there’s an even distribution with no clumps.
  • Give the chicken pieces enough space in the air fryer basket. This promotes proper air circulation and allows each piece to cook uniformly.
  • Use an Instant-Read Meat Thermometer to check the internal temperature. This guarantees the chicken is thoroughly cooked (at 165 degrees F) and safe to enjoy.

Variations To This Boneless Chicken Wings Recipe

  • Dredge the chicken in whisked eggs and a separate bowl of panko breadcrumbs for a breaded chicken wing alternative!
  • Create an easy keto-friendly parmesan garlic coating by mixing grated parmesan, garlic powder, and almond flour.
  • Opt for gluten-free breadcrumbs or almond flour for a gluten-free breading option.
  • If you love spicy chicken wings, try a spicy sriracha mayo dip and pair it with more hot sauce!

Air fryer boneless wings are perfect for a quick and delicious busy weeknight dinner! Use fresh or frozen Anytizer chicken, toss with your favorite sauce, and enjoy!

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast, chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees.
  2. Lightly pat the tops and bottoms of your boneless wings to remove extra moisture.
  3. Place the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix.
  4. Spray your air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray if your air fryer tends to stick. Place your wings into the basket, leaving room around each of them.
  5. Sprinkle the tops of your wings in the air fryer, reserving half of the seasoning for later.
  6. Cook the boneless wings for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping or lightly shaking the basket halfway through cooking and seasoning the other side. Chicken is cooked once it hits 165 degrees.
  7. Place your fried boneless chicken wings in a bowl and pour the buffalo sauce over top of it. If you need to do two batches, reserve ½ for the next batch. Use tongs to flip and cover the boneless wings. Serve with blue cheese dressing.
