My Favorite Cream Cheese Dips
I honestly love making cream cheese dip recipes. I just find that dips using cream cheese always come out creamier and tastier, and they don’t take any extra work.
I make dips all the time for everything from parties to holiday get-togethers like Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter, and even for just snack time. My husband Ben even liked to call me obsessed with making them.
So, I talked with my husband, Ben, and my kids, Leah and Connor, to put together the best list of cream cheese dip ideas. These are truly recipes I make for personal parties and are everything from savory to sweet dips, and of course, easy to make!
What to Serve With Dips Using Cream Cheese
When I make sweet dip recipes using cream cheese, I love to pair them with all sorts of fruits, like strawberries, pineapple, apples, blueberries, grapes, and more. They also go well with fun additions like pieces of cake, graham crackers, Nilla wafers, Oreos, pretzels, and anything sweet.
If I’m serving a savory cream cheese dip recipe, I stick to more salty options like tortilla chips, pita chips, crostini, bagel chips, and crackers. Vegetables like carrots and celery work great too!
How to Store Leftovers
Most dips using cream cheese can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days. If the dip is cold, it may need a little stir to mix the ingredients together again, and if the dip is hot, it will need to be reheated prior to eating again for the best texture.
But, if the dip has been sitting out at room temperature for more than 2 hours, I recommend tossing it.
This is my absolute favorite cream cheese dip of all time. There is something about the combination of Cool Whip and cream cheese that meshes so well together. I’ve eaten this stuff literally with a spoon because it’s so good!
When I can get the slow cooker working, it makes my life so much easier. And, since my husband is from Buffalo, I had to make the perfect Buffalo chicken dip recipe! I use cream cheese to get that creamier texture.
I love to make this one all year round, but it’s one of my favorites in the summer when I can use fresh corn on the cob. The cream cheese adds so much creaminess and flavor to it!
I am completely hot chocolate obsessed that I make myself a hot cocoa advent calendar with different flavors most years. And while I love drinking it, dipping graham crackers and strawberries in some is even better.
I set out to make the absolute best artichoke dip a few years ago and succeeded with this recipe. The cream cheese brings the perfect amount of creaminess to the dip, and the cheeses are perfection.
Who said I needed to use regular cream cheese for dips every time? I created this fun recipe using strawberry cream cheese instead. It brings out extra strawberry flavor, and my son Connor loves it!
When I need to make a dip for a party, I usually turn to my 7 layer taco dip, and honestly, my favorite layer is the cream cheese mixed with the sour cream and taco seasoning. I make it in a 13×9 dish, so it’s enough for a party!
I live in New York, and apple picking is a huge deal in the fall. That always leaves me with a ton of apples to use. I started making this a few years ago, and I have never seen my daughter Leah go through a dip so fast!
This is one of my favorite cream cheese dip recipes to make for Super Bowl Sunday. It’s like pizza, but not officially. But it brings in all the cheesiness and more!
I love making this easy cream cheese dip for Valentine’s Day every year. I love chocolate, and it’s a nice way to enjoy fresh strawberries without paying $10 per chocolate covered strawberry. My chocolate loving daughter Leah approves.
I love a good hot dip, and that’s just where my crab dip comes in. The cream cheese makes it super creamy, and it’s a favorite of my husband Ben’s to enjoy, especially on New Year's.
When it turns fall, it’s officially pumpkin season in my house! Okay, let’s be honest. I start that in August now, but only mainly because I love making this dip more times. I especially love this one with Nilla wafers!
This one is one of Ben’s favorite cream cheese dips! He says it’s hearty, creamy, and just so good. I asked him what I should write, and he said that. And, I agree with every word there because I love it too.
This dip is even called cream cheese right in the name! I created this special fruit dip using cream cheese and yogurt to mix a healthier fruit dip with some creaminess. My kids love eating this one after school as a snack. And, I love making it when I have extra fruit to use up, as my kids go through it super fast when I make it!
