For everyday home cooks who love shortcut recipes and air fryer meals, Everyday Family Cooking creates easy dinners with simple ingredients that still taste great. Whether it’s crispy air fryer chicken on a packed soccer night or a dessert that starts with a box of cake mix and Cool Whip, dinner gets on the table fast without a long grocery list. Here, every recipe is meant to save you time and still be something your family asks for again.
Since 2019, the site has grown to over 1,000 recipes, and more than 350 of those are made in the air fryer. Every recipe is developed by Samantha Erb and tested in her own kitchen. The air fryer recipes get tested in more than a dozen different air fryers, so they come out right the first time in yours.
Around 11 million people stop by every year, and these are what they come back for most:
- Easy family dinners that come together fast, like her baked bone in pork chops.
- Air fryer dinners and sides that come out crispy every time, like air fryer chicken breast.
- Shortcut desserts made with store-bought dough, boxed mixes and Cool Whip, like the pineapple dump cake recipe Parade loved.
- Game day food for a crowd, like honey garlic sauce for her baked chicken wings recipe.
- Holiday sides people ask for every year, like her famous sweet potato casserole made with canned yams.
How it started

I started Everyday Family Cooking in 2019 so all my recipes would be in one place. The plan was to build an online cookbook I could pass down to my kids one day. Somehow that little project turned into my full-time job, and I still can’t believe it!
Then the kids got older and my calendar filled up with soccer, orchestra, and playdates. I wanted those nights with them, not standing at the stove. So my recipes got easier and a lot faster. Now if a recipe doesn’t work on a busy Tuesday night, it doesn’t make it onto the site.
What you can count on
Everything comes from a regular grocery store. The steps are written out clearly, and there are tips right where things tend to go wrong. If Samantha finds a better way to make something later, she goes back and updates the post.
