Instant Pot Navy Bean Soup


– Dry navy beans – Diced yellow onion – Celery diced – Minced garlic – Low-sodium broth  – Diced tomatoes – Worcestershire sauce – Italian seasoning – Garlic powder *tap below for all ingredient details

Place navy beans in a colander, rinse, and allow to drain. Pick through the beans and remove and discard any broken ones.

Step 1

Add oil to the Instant Pot and press Saute. Add the onion and celery and cook. Add garlic and cook.

Step 2

Add beans, broth, water, tomatoes, Worcestershire, seasonings, and bay leaf, stirring well to combine.

Step 3

Nestle the ham bone in the mixture. Secure and seal the lid and cook for 50 minutes.

Step 4

Carefully transfer the ham bone to a bowl and remove the ham from the bone. Transfer it to the soup.

Step 5

Serve garnished with parsley.
