Ingredients

  • 1.5-2 pounds skirt steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • ½ tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Place the steak in the crock of a slow cooker.
  • Drizzle with oil and Worcestershire sauce.
  • In a small bowl, combine all the seasonings together and mix well. Sprinkle half of the spice mix on one side of the steak, using your hands to adhere it to the surface. Flip the steak and repeat with the remaining seasonings.
  • Cook undisturbed for 6 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high, until very tender.
  • When the cook time is done, carefully transfer the steak to a cutting board, slicing it against the grain and serving as desired.
