Ingredients

  • 4 slices of the bread of your choice I used white bread
  • Toppings of your choice I used butter and jam

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
  • Place the bread slices in the air fryer basket or tray in a single layer.
  • Air fry them for 3 minutes, flipping the bread after 2 minutes.

Notes

  • Always preheat so the bread gets the perfect amount of crispiness.
  • If the bread is light and starts to move, place a small wire rack on top of it to keep it down.
  • Thin slices crisp quickly, while thicker slices like Texas toast take longer.
  • Flipping the bread halfway through the cooking time helps me get it evenly toasted on both sides. I usually flip mine at the 2-minute mark.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or on the counter for a day.
  • Reheat leftovers in a preheated air fryer at 400 degrees for 1 to 2 minutes.
