Ingredients

  • 8 ounce canned salmon drained
  • ½ cup panko
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 green onion minced
  • ¼ cup small diced red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dill minced
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, mix the canned salmon, panko, egg, green onion, red pepper, dill, dijon mustard, garlic powder, and salt until everything is fully combined.
  • Form the mixture into 4 patties, pressing each firmly into shape.
  • Add the patties to the air fryer and cook them for about 8 minutes, flipping them once halfway through.

Notes

  • Drain the canned salmon really well before mixing it with other ingredients to avoid excess moisture.
  • Press the patties firmly to shape them. This helps them hold together better during the cooking process.
  • For extra crispiness, lightly spray the patties with cooking spray before placing them in the air fryer.
  • If using premade frozen salmon patties, increase the cooking time to about 12 minutes.
  • Store leftover patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
