4 hot dogs or as many hot dogs as your air fryer basket fits 4 hot dog buns sliced down the middle (optional)
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
Cook hot dogs for 4 minutes until cooked, flipping the hot dogs halfway through cooking.
Place hot dogs into hot dog buns.
Cook hot dogs in buns an additional 1-2 minutes, still at 400 degrees.
Enjoy immediately.
Skinny hot dogs, like Ball Park or Nathan’s beef franks, will cook in 4 minutes.
Thicker hot dogs, like our local Zwiegles, or jumbo hot dogs can take about 6 to 8 minutes.
If you preferred a lesser browned hot dog, cook them at 380 degrees for about 5 minutes.
Reheat leftovers at 350 degrees F for 2-3 minutes.
