Ingredients

  • 12 ounces fresh green beans washed and trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/3 teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • In a large bowl, drizzle the olive oil over the green beans.
  • Combine the seasonings and coat the green beans in the seasonings and parmesan cheese. Keep tossing the green beans until they are evenly coated.
  • Spread them out on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until they are still tender but have a crunchy parmesan coating on them. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Line the baking sheet with foil for an easy, mess-free cleanup.
  • Pat the green beans fully dry before seasoning. Excess moisture steams them instead of crisping them up.
  • Spread them in a single layer with space between each bean so they roast instead of steam.
  • Watch them closely near the end, they can go from crisp to burnt quickly.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Reheat in the oven at 375°F for about 10 minutes, until warmed through.
