- 12 ounces fresh green beans washed and trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/3 teaspoon garlic salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
In a large bowl, drizzle the olive oil over the green beans.
Combine the seasonings and coat the green beans in the seasonings and parmesan cheese. Keep tossing the green beans until they are evenly coated.
Spread them out on a baking sheet.
Bake for 10-15 minutes until they are still tender but have a crunchy parmesan coating on them. Serve immediately.
- Line the baking sheet with foil for an easy, mess-free cleanup.
- Pat the green beans fully dry before seasoning. Excess moisture steams them instead of crisping them up.
- Spread them in a single layer with space between each bean so they roast instead of steam.
- Watch them closely near the end, they can go from crisp to burnt quickly.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
- Reheat in the oven at 375°F for about 10 minutes, until warmed through.
