Best Recipe for Homemade Whipped Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream cold
  • ¼ cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Chill the mixing bowl in the freezer for 10 minutes before preparing the whipped cream. 
  • Pour the pint of the heavy whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla extract into the bowl. 
  • Start the mixer slowly to incorporate the sugar with the cream and work up to mixing on high.
  • Continue to beat until you have stiff peaks. It should look like the consistency of Cool Whip.

Notes

  • A stand mixer or a handheld mixer works well. It is not recommended to whip by hand. 
  • Each serving is 1/4 cup. This recipe will give you approx. 16 servings.
