Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings drums and flats
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 4-5 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Pat the wings completely dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl. Drizzle olive oil over them, tossing to coat.
  • In a small bowl, combine the baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pepper. Sprinkle over the wings and toss to coat completely.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F. Add the wings in a single layer (skin side up) to the air fryer without touching, and cook for 15 minutes. Carefully flip the wings and cook for 5 to 8 more minutes. Repeat the cooking process with the remaining wings if needed.
  • Meanwhile, melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir in the minced garlic and parmesan. Transfer the fully cooked wings from the air fryer to a large bowl, toss with the garlic butter, and serve garnished with parsley if desired.
