INGREDIENTS

– Olive oil – Fresh green beans – Butter – Garlic, minced – All purpose flour – Chicken stock – Heavy cream -  Cream cheese – Lemon, juiced – Thyme, minced – Red pepper flakes – Ground nutmeg – Fried onions

- Heat a skillet, add the olive oil, green beans & salt.  - Cook for about 5 mins, then transfer to baking dish.

- On the same skillet, melt butter & cook garlic for about a minute.  - Add the flour, whisk until a paste is formed &  cook for an additional minute.

Add red pepper flakes, thyme, nutmeg,  lemon juice & stir to combine.

Pour the sauce mixture over the green beans & toss to evenly combine.

Bake the casserole for  10 mins before adding the fried onions.  Bake for another  8-10 mins!
