Air Fryer Churros from Scratch!

– Water – Unsalted butter – Granulated sugar – Salt – All purpose flour – Ground cinnamon – Vanilla extract – Large egg

In a pot, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt at medium-high heat. Bring this to a boil.

Step 1

Drop heat to low and add in the flour. Stir flour and form a ball. Transfer into a stand mixer. Add cinnamon and vanilla extract.

Step 2

Place the mixer on medium speed and mix for 5 minutes. Add egg and continue mixing.

Step 3

Place Β½ of the dough in a piping bag with a star 1M tip. Place a silicone mat down. Pipe churros 5 inches long.

Step 4

Pipe until the dough has been used. Place churros in the freezer for 30 minutes. In a bowl combine sugar and cinnamon.

Step 5

Air Fry for 10 minutes. Quickly roll in the cinnamon sugar. Serve with Nutella, caramel, or by themselves!
