Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp

Air fryer bang bang shrimp is crispy, delicious, and ready in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

PREP TIME: 10 MINS TOTAL TIME: 30 MINS

– Mayonnaise – Sweet chili sauce – Sriracha – Large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tail on – Cornstarch – Buttermilk – Panko bread crumbs – Kosher salt

Make the sauce by combining the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha. Set aside.

Step 1

Place the cornstarch in a bowl. Pour the buttermilk into a separate bowl. In a third bowl, mix the bread crumbs and salt.

Step 2

Pat the shrimp dry and place them in the bowl of cornstarch, shaking to coat the shrimp fully.

Step 3

Working in batches, dredge the shrimp in buttermilk, then roll  in the breadcrumbs.

Step 4

Place the coated shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer. Spray them lightly with cooking spray.

Step 5

Air fry for 5 mins, then flip the shrimp, spray with cooking oil, and fry for another 5 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked.

Step 6

When all the shrimp are cooked, pour the bang bang sauce over them and lightly toss until the shrimp are well-coated!
