- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
- green onions
Place all of your ingredients in a small bowl, except the green onions.
Whisk until they are all well combined.
Cut 1-2 tablespoons of green onions and place into your sauce, if desired.
- You can use ground ginger if you do not have fresh ginger. Use ⅛-¼ of a teaspoon of powdered ginger since it is more concentrated than using fresh.
- You can add some spice if you like by adding sriracha or crushed red pepper flakes.
- If you do not have brown sugar, you can substitute it for granulated or honey.
- If the sauce is too salty for you, add 1 tablespoon of water at a time until you have your desired flavor.
