Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
  • green onions

Instructions

  • Place all of your ingredients in a small bowl, except the green onions.
  • Whisk until they are all well combined.
  • Cut 1-2 tablespoons of green onions and place into your sauce, if desired.

Notes

  • You can use ground ginger if you do not have fresh ginger. Use ⅛-¼ of a teaspoon of powdered ginger since it is more concentrated than using fresh.
  • You can add some spice if you like by adding sriracha or crushed red pepper flakes.
  • If you do not have brown sugar, you can substitute it for granulated or honey.
  • If the sauce is too salty for you, add 1 tablespoon of water at a time until you have your desired flavor.
