Place the green beans, condensed soup, pepper, ½ cup cheese, and ⅔ of the bacon in a large mixing bowl. Mix well and transfer to a casserole dish 11x8 casserole dish.
Bake for 30 minutes, uncovered, until bubbly.
Sprinkle with the remaining cheese, bacon, and crushed crackers, then return to the oven and bake an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the top is golden brown.
