Ingredients

Salad:

  • 1 ½ - 2 pounds green seedless grapes
  • 1 ½ - 2 pounds red seedless grapes
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping:

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup pecans pieces toasted

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the grapes. They should be dried so the cream cheese mixture will stick to them.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla, using a hand mixer.
  • Place the grapes into a large bowl and fold in the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
  • Optional: Toast the pecans. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the pecans on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until they smell fragrant. This enriches the flavor of the pecans, but it is totally optional.
  • When ready to serve, sprinkle the brown sugar and pecan pieces on the top.
