Course: Air Fryer Recipes
Cuisine: American
Servings: 20 meatballs
Calories: 42kcal
- 1 pound ground turkey
- ⅓ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg large
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat the air fryer to 400F.
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix them until just well combined, then form them small tablespoon-sized meatballs.
Add the meatballs to the air fryer basket in a single layer and air fry them for 8 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. They are done when they reach 165F.
- My top tip: Only mix the meatball mixture until it's just well combined. Overmixing can cause the meatballs to become dense and dry.
- How to store leftovers: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or in the freezer in a freezer bag.
- How to reheat leftovers: Reheat any leftovers in a preheated air fryer at 400F for about 4 to 5 minutes until they're warmed through.
