Easy Air Fryer Artichokes (No Breading!)
My air fryer artichokes come out slightly crispy on the leaves and tender in the artichoke hearts. They're made with just 5 simple ingredients, needing no breading!

- 3 medium artichokes
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice (one small lemon)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Kosher salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Preheat the air fryer to 340F.
Cut the artichokes in half lengthwise and remove the fuzzy choke from the inside using a spoon (it's not edible).
Pour the lemon juice over the cut sides. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Flip them and repeat on the leafy side.
Place the asparagus cut side down in the air fryer and air fry them for 12 minutes. Open the air fryer, flip the artichokes, then fry for 4 more minutes (16 minutes total).
- My top tip: Remove the tough outer leaves so the inner leaves have a chance to get crispy.
- Storing: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Reheating: Reheat leftovers in a preheated air fryer at 340F for 5 minutes until the leaves get warm and slightly crispy again.
