- 1 French bread loaf Italian bread will work too
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1-2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
- Pepperoni for topping
Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F.
Slice the french loaf in half and then cut lengthwise, making 4 pieces. Cut the pieces to fit the air fryer basket/tray if needed.
Place two pieces of bread in the air fryer and cook them for 2 minutes.
Carefully remove the bread from the air fryer then assemble the pizzas using about 2 tablespoons marinara, 1/4-1/2 teaspoon seasoning, and 1/2 cup shredded cheese per piece.
Air fry them for 4-5 minutes then turn the air fryer off and open it. Place pepperoni slices on the pizza and close the air fryer for about 1 minute to allow the pepperoni to melt into the cheese.
- Air fry the bread by itself first so it crisps up a little before adding sauce and toppings.
- If the bread tilts, lean it against the inside of the air fryer basket or prop it with a toothpick.
- To keep the cheese in place, press it lightly into the sauce before air frying.
- For an extra crispy crust, brush the cut side of the bread with olive oil.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Reheat leftovers in a preheated air fryer at 350 degrees F for about 3-4 minutes.
