2 tablespoons butter 4 cloves garlic minced ⅓ cup honey ¼ cup water ¼ cup brown sugar 2 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons rice vinegar 1 tablespoon cornstarch
In a small pan over medium heat, melt the butter, then add the garlic cloves and cook for 1-2 minutes, until garlic is fragrant.
Add the honey, water, brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar and cornstarch and whisk well to combine.
Bring to a boil, stirring frequently, and then allow to simmer for 5 minutes, or until thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
Allow to cool slightly.
