Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion diced (about 1 cup)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups water divided
  • 1 lb spaghetti broken in half
  • 3 cups spaghetti sauce
  • Chopped parsley and grated parmesan cheese for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Set pot to sear, add the oil, beef, onion, salt, italian seasoning, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and black pepper and cook until beef is browned and onions are softened, about 8 minutes
  • Add in half the water, followed by the pasta, followed by the rest of the water, then top with the pasta sauce. Do not stir
  • Place the lid on, made sure the vent is set to sealed, then cook at high pressure for 8 minutes
  • Immediately release the pressure, then give the pasta a good stir
  • Serve with fresh parsley and parmesan cheese if desired
