Air Fryer Chili Cheese Dogs

Deliciously grilled-like hot dogs smothered in chili and cheese on a sausage roll for the ultimate comfort food.

Ingredients

  • 2 hot dogs
  • 2 sausage rolls
  • 1/2 cup canned or homemade chili of choice warmed or at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese*

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees.
  • Place the hot dogs inside the air fryer and cook for 4 minutes, turning halfway through.
  • Remove the hot dogs from the air fryer and place inside sausage rolls. Gently place each one in the air fryer and add half of the cheddar cheese evenly on top of the hot dogs.
  • Add the chili and then top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  • Turn air fryer to 350 degrees and cook for 1-2 minutes until cheese has melted and chili is warm.
  • Carefully remove the chili cheese dogs from the air fryer and enjoy immediately.

Notes

*Mexican cheese can be substituted for cheddar cheese
If cooking hot dogs from frozen:
Place small slits on hot dogs using a knife. Cook on 350 (preheated) for 7-8 minutes until hot dog is heated thoroughly.
