Pecan Pie without Corn Syrup


– 9” Pie crust – Light brown sugar – Butter – Maple syrup – Large eggs – All purpose flour – Pure vanilla extract – Pecans

Place the pie crust in the pan.  Cover the pie crust with parchment paper and fill it with dried beans. Bake for 15 mins, then remove the pie weights.

Step 1 

Whisk together the brown sugar, butter, and maple syrup. whisk in the eggs, flour, and vanilla. Add the pecans and stir.

Step 2 

Transfer the filling to the parbaked crust and bake it for 30-35 minutes.

Allow the pie to cool and then transfer it to the fridge to chill for at least 2 hours.
