Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese

Cook the elbow macaroni in a pot of salted water until it becomes al dente. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water.

Step 1

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and whisk in all-purpose flour. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 2

Pour in whole milk and heavy cream. Season your sauce with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.

Step 3

Lower the heat and then cheddar cheese mozzarella cheese. Stir until the cheese is completely melted.

Step 4

Add the cooked macaroni noodles to the skillet with the creamy cheese sauce and stir.

Step 5

Add the warmed pulled pork, stir, and serve your homemade mac and cheese, topping each bowl with pulled pork and a drizzle of BBQ sauce.
