EVERYDAY FAMILY COOKING

INGREDIENTS

– Unsalted butter – White sugar – Egg – Vanilla extract – Peppermint oil – All-purpose flour – Baking soda and powder – Salt – White chocolate chips – Ccrushed candy canes

Use a hand mixer to cream together the butter & sugar. Mix in the peppermint oil, vanilla & egg.

In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients together. Then, combine the dry & the wet ingredients.

Fold in the candy cane pieces & white chocolate chips. Place the dough in the refrigerator to chill for 30 mins.

Scoop out 2-tablespoon sized portions of dough, roll them into balls & place them on your prepared cookie sheet.

Bake cookies for 5 mins. Remove from oven & sprinkle the remaining candy cane & white chocolate on top! Bake another few mins.
