Buffalo Chicken Pasta Bake

EVERYDAY FAMILY COOKING

– Uncooked ziti – Olive oil – Chicken breast – Ranch seasoning – Butter – All purpose flour – Milk – Homemade buffalo sauce – Shredded cheddar cheese – Shredded pepper jack

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the ziti to al dente.

In a pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sprinkle the cubed chicken with kosher salt, ranch seasoning, black pepper. and toss to coat.

Sear the chicken for 1-2 mins per side. Add the butter to a pan and melt. Add the flour and whisk. Cook the roux for 1 minute.

Add the milk and buffalo sauce. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook. Reduce the heat add cheddar cheese and pepper jack cheese. Stir.

Remove the pan from heat and add the cooked pasta, chicken, green onion, and blue cheese crumbles and stir.

Transfer the pasta mixture to the greased pan and top with the remaining cheddar and pepper jack cheese. Bake for 15-18 minutes.

Garnish with additional crumbled blue cheese and sliced green onion, and serve!
